All School Field Trip to the Marblehed Public Library
We have a full kitchen that is accessible for parents to enjoy a cup of coffee and spend time connecting with one another in our family resource area. We welcome parents to stay after dropping of their child to spend time in our parent and children's library or use this opportunity to meet the other families in our school. We will also use the kitchen for fun, nutritious cooking activities with the children.
We encourage children to learn about our world by interacting directly with our wall sized map. The chidlren can use dry erase markers to locate where they have traveled and where they dream about going. This introduced children to geography and engages children in conversations about diversity and culture.
Marblehead High School Students from the Art Society volunteered to paint this beautiful mural for our children's library.
